Giles, once deputy to his now retired predecessor, our Trump-era conversation partner David Marin. Most of our questions were about conditions and process at Adelanto Detention Center. Episcopal Diocese of Los Angeles colleagues who were also aboard: Veteran justice seekers the Rev. Canon Jaime Edwards-Acton and the Rev. Richard Estrada. The relentlessly cheerful and prophetic Guillermo Torres of CLUE: Clergy and Laity United for Economic Justice convened us.
