Nellie Anne Saville
1917 – 2011
Nellie Anne Saville, widow of the Rev. Canon J. Kimball Saville, died on January 7 at age 93. She is survived by the Savilles’ four children, who are active with their spouses in their various Episcopal parishes: Susan Remsberg (Bruce), Debbie Richards (Greg), Mary Irvin-Baker (Bill), and John Saville (Kathleen), and by eight granchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Nellie Anne (Daniels) grew up at All Saints Church in Pasadena where she sang in the choir. She was active in numerous ministries, particularly in partnership with her late husband during his years of parish ministry as longtime rector of St. Michael’s, Anaheim, and while assisting more recently at Trinity, Redlands, and St. Alban’s, Yucaipa.
A memorial service is scheduled for 10:45 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 22, at St. John’s Church in Corona, where the Rev. John Saville is longtime rector and area dean.
