God of fair balls and fair play, as artful dodgers tease tigers in wild ravines, we lament the sin afflicting those who overlook angels sporting their white socks. Surely the Episcopal Diocese of Los Angeles is big enough for both its heavenly hosts. Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
