God of justice and love, on the 112th anniversary of the birth of Rosa Parks, who had been working and advocating for civil rights for 12 years in the Montgomery NAACP before choosing her transformative moment of resistance: Help all who feel overwhelmed by events to bide their time, because the Holy Spirit promises always to reveal when to stand up, speak out, and shine our light for your glory and for the sake of your people; through Jesus Christ our Lord.
