Gracious God, the Episcopal Diocese of Los Angeles gives thanks for the combined 34 years of abundant pastoral, prophetic, institution-building ministry of Mark Kowalewski and Daniel Ade as co-deans and -rectors of St. John’s Cathedral as they announce their retirement this morning. May your Holy Spirit continue to guide them, and the cathedral congregation they have served so devotedly, as all discern what awaits to be accomplished in the next seasons of their ministries for God’s glory and the care of God’s people.
