When the Episcopal Diocese of Los Angeles heads back to Dodger Stadium on Friday, Sept. 23, we confidently expect a fall classic as the NL West-leading Los Angeles Dodgers take on the NL Central-leading St. Louis Cardinals. If you don’t have tickets yet, talk to your mission or parish representative or, if you don’t have one, the Rev. Canon Greg Larkin, our legendary Canon Baseball, or me. This afternoon in Pasadena, I continued to get ready to throw out a first pitch. Behind the plate will be my friend since college, attorney and lifelong Dodgers fan David Eisen, who helps the diocese out with myriad legal matters and helped me out with my windup. Kathy Hannigan O’Connor and Geri Eisen provided moral support.
