Jeffrey Stoller Thornberg, rector of The Church of Our Saviour in San Gabriel, over breakfast in Pasadena, discussing church, children, grandchildren, and baptisms…at their Beverly Hills home, producer Tom Parry and artist Juan Fernando Bastos…Kathy and Immaculate Heart Community director of mission advancement Pam Hope, who appeared to make friends the moment I introduced them…Philippine Independent Church bishop the Rt. Rev. Gerry Engnan…and our dear friends D.j. and Duane Gomer, who took Kathy and me for a birthday dinner in Pasadena.
