Food Assistance Resources
While food insecurity has been a pervasive and serious issue for years, the nonprofit Feeding America has suggested that the Coronavirus pandemic could lead to more than 54 million Americans, including 18 million children, facing food insecurity and hunger. Alongside Seeds of Hope, the food justice ministry of the Episcopal Diocese of Los Angeles, congregations and communities across the more than 5 counties of the diocese are responding to the growing need. More information on Seeds of Hope can be found here.
