Jennifer Lopez’s Netflix thriller “The Mother,” out today, features a scene filmed at Church of the Angels in Pasadena. Lopez is great as usual. She plays an Army sniper turned assassin protecting her daughter (Luzy Paez) from vengeful bad guys from her criminal past. Filmmakers definitely saw Bourne movies and “Kill Bill.”
