Merciful God, we pray for all those at risk as a result of extreme weather, especially our neighbors throughout the Episcopal Diocese of Los Angeles during the impending heat wave, when the unhoused and those who have preexisting conditions or lack air conditioning will be especially vulnerable. We beseech you to bestow gifts of wisdom and perseverance on all who battle the climate emergency. Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
