On Saturday at St. John’s Cathedral, by the grace of God, Presiding Bishop Michael B. Curry will ordain these five Episcopal Diocese of Los Angeles deacons as priests — and today, during their pre-ordination retreat, the Revs. Stacey Forte-Dupre, Tim Hartley, Ryan Macias, Brian Tucker, and Susanne Wright-Nava were invited by Marjorie Cooley and her colleagues in the diocesan Altar Guild to pick out handmade stoles.
