Holy and ever-present God, during Holy Week, on Holy Saturday, followers of Jesus Christ sometimes experience a sensation between Easter exultation and the unconsolable loss of Good Friday. Around the Episcopal Diocese of Los Angeles, as our neighbors who have lost so much take stock, help them and all of us to be Holy Saturday people, wearied of grief, yearning to hope, but knowing that rebuilding will be the work of many seasons.
