From Sunday, April 6 through Friday, April 11, Seeds of Hope will host a food sustainability hub for L.A. Climate Week at St. Paul’s Commons, 840 Echo Park Ave., Los Angeles.
The week’s events will bring together local farmers, chefs, climate activists and Los Angeles policy makers with partners including Climate Designers, From Soil to Soul, Plant Based Treaty, Food x Climate, Hollywood Food Coalition, and Universal Waste Systems.
Seeds of Hope — a program of the Episcopal Diocese of Los Angeles — invites all to attend regenerative farming and soil justice panels, upcycled food innovation & climate-smart cooking demos, food waste solutions & community composting workshops, and other hands-on experiences to help people take action.

Sunday, April 6 – Food and Soil Justice Day
Kick off the week with powerful discussions on the connection between land, culture, and climate justice. Enjoy free vegan cheese, a Patagonia raffle and meet regenerative farmers, land activists, and community leaders working toward a fairer food system.
Monday, April 7 – Food Day in WeHo
Take action in the community by supporting Plant Based Treaty’s Food Day by distributing free, fresh, locally grown produce to attendees.
Tuesday, April 8 – Regenerative Agriculture Day
Learn how farmers are on the frontlines of climate resilience, restoring soil health and growing food in ways that heal the planet. Join workshops, panels, and hands-on sessions with Imani Gardens, Zero FoodPrint, and more.
Wednesday, April 9 – Food Rescue and Upcycling Day
See how Hollywood Food Coalition, Universal Waste Systems, and Food x Climate are tackling food waste, with rescued food cooking demos, upcycled food tastings, and composting sessions.
Thursday, April 10 – The Future of Food Day
Explore alternative proteins, climate-friendly packaging, and the cutting edge of sustainable food innovation. Sample alternative proteins and play the Climate Cooldown Game a collaborative strategy game to design a food system that saves the planet!
Friday, April 11 – Direct Food Justice Action Day
Close the week with a hands-on volunteer food distribution. Food justice is climate justice. Help us feed our community and make real change.
