Almighty God, though you saw that everything you had made was good, whenever people or circumstances are cruel, even your most faithful people have trouble accentuating the positive. It is for such times as these that through your Christ, you invite us daily to practice love and reconciliation so that, when evening comes, we may rejoice and give you thanks.
