Almighty God, who summons the nations to acts of wisdom and justice: We offer prayers today for all in authority in the U.S. and the Atlantic alliance, especially when the imperatives of standing up for Ukraine and avoiding an uncontrollable war with Russia come into conflict. Soften the hearts of those in our country who grasp for political profit by attacking our leaders for being weak when, above all, for the sake of all humanity, you need them to be wise.
