Following the long-established tradition, the Episcopal Church Women of the Diocese of Los Angeles will award its 2019 Medical Ministry Grants on or around February 10, 2019.
The grant deadline of December 10, 2018 allows for time for the grant committee to make site visits and make their recommendations to the ECW board.
The ECW Medical Grants are given to Episcopal Groups or Institutions helping to meet the medical needs in the Diocese of Los Angeles. These groups may be working with medical or relief organizations that are independent of the Episcopal Church. A total of $4,000 is available each year and may be granted to one or divided among any number of organizations. Grants may not be awarded for the same project more than every other year and the grants may not be used for operating expenses.
