Gracious God, amid the work of convention and the joy of conventioneer fellowship, increase our prayerful mindfulness about our hosts and temporary neighbors and their storied history — racial injustice and reconciliation, Mohammad Ali, the Louisville Slugger, and the Kentucky Derby, high spirits and famous spirits, and the commerce that surges along the mighty Ohio River. So much grace and hospitality, so much to see and learn, and so many friends to make when we come back. Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
