Almighty God , in whom on the last day, under the mighty wing of Christ, war will cease and no tears will be shed: Beholding a world on the brink of a catastrophic war and grieving the cold war of our politics, we pray to be prophets of humility, mutual understanding and accountability, and reconciliation as we pray urgently for the healing of our nation and world.
