Photo: On the way to see Canon Lydia Lopez on her 80th birthday on Wednesday, I stopped at Lassen’s Natural Foods and grabbed her a potted flower of unknown variety, at least to this city boy. A nice guy in line told me it was a peace lily. In my office yesterday, the plant that’s been minding its own business for four years produced the identical blossom, albeit bigger. Christ is risen indeed!
