Almighty God, as we pray for justice and peace in Ukraine and wherever the innocent are victims of injustice and aggression, may we remember our obligation and opportunity to be models and mediators of the hard work of reconciliation in our own lives, families, and communities, especially when there is difficult reckoning to be done; in the name and according to the example of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
