OUR SAVIOUR CENTER in El Monte will host its annual fundraiser on Saturday, Sept. 21, 5 – 8 p.m. at Church of Our Saviour, 535 W. Roses Road, San Gabriel 91775.
The cowboy-themed event will feature a barbecue dinner, live entertainment by a Christian comedienne, and live and silent auctions, with such items as a hot air balloon ride, a ride with Santa in the San Gabriel Fire Department’s vintage truck during a Christmas neighborhood “parade”; a guided tour of the Cathedral Center and pizza lunch with Bishop John Taylor; a three-hour party at Dorris Dann Kids Campus; and stays at a Ventura beach house or the Anderson Inn at Morro Bay; a 50/50 cash drawing.
