Episcopal Enterprises

Episcopal Enterprises is providing an innovative platform for the church to engage in social enterprise in order to create greater capacity for ministry and better sustain our communities and our parishes. Episcopal Enterprises was born out of many conversations between innovative Episcopal clergy and lay people working to develop alternative ways to fund powerful visions for ministry beyond what churches can simply collect in pledges and tithes.

The Episcopal Enterprises Service Corps initiative looks to connect both people with experience and expertise in different areas related to enterprises, and churches’ members of our diocese that may need support from these volunteers to start with some generated income initiative. We encourage churches to venture into this challenge, to be more financially sustainable and better prepared to help their communities to thrive as well.
